Nader hints at an announcement

Ralph Nader's exploratory committee just emailed his list: that he'll be on Meet the Press Sunday. Wonder what he's gong to talk about.

From the email:

As you know, we've been exploring the possibilities in recent weeks.

And here's one question that keeps coming up:

What's been pulled off the table by the corporatized political machines in this momentous election year?

Answer:

Cutting the huge, bloated and wasteful military budget, adopting a single payer Canadian-style national health insurance system, impeaching Bush/Cheney, opposing nuclear power - among many others.

Who will pick up these issues and put them back on the table?

Hope you get a chance to tune in to watch Ralph Nader this Sunday on Meet the Press.

Go the fuck home you piece of shit.

3. Your check from the Republicans is in the mail Ralph.
And to those who would vote for you: Although I can understand the issues and why some would feel strongly for them, sadly, this crap doesn't work in a non-Parliament Democracy.

5. Nader won't gain any traction if he runs against Obama.
I'm not worried. I know a lot of people bought the smear campaign painting Obama as a conservative but that won't hold water anymore.

6. Well, he knows now that he doesn't have to drive a stake into Hillary.
He will have to stick a pin in Obama.

7. Dear Ralph: refocus, stay vocal and visible at all times...
not at the moment you feel you can 'shake things up'...you've accomplished a great deal of good...either retire your act gracefully, please; or keep involved with affecting 'change'...you are reducing yourself to the 'angry commentator', no more, no less...sadly, being right is not enough these days...we are looking for leadership, not someone saying 'they went that-a-way'...

8. Hey Ralph, two questions:
1. Fuck you?
2a. How exactly will a President Nader impeach ex-President Bush?
2b. Never mind, and fuck you.

9. I don't think it'll matter much this election.
Nader's free to do whatever he likes, but I'd be willing to bet there are a hell of alot of voters from 2000 that regret helping put Bush in office via their vote for him.

10. Right on cue
Ralph drags his massive ego out of cold storage to get it stroked by the media.

Karl must have a secret checking account for just such an occasion.
