1. Yup. It's in their best interest to lower expectations. If he wins one it's a huge upset.

2. Probably not Texas after last night.
I can't see how insulting Austin's mayor and getting booed on national TV is going to help her Texas campaign.

3. David Axelrod
Not Axorod.

And yes, he is correct. Hillary is the favorite in both Ohio and Texas.

4. Nice Doggy!

Obama will be fine in Ohio; better organization, lots more money, voting blocks
that have shown him support, targeted advertising, and the momentum.

5. If Hillary doesn't win both contests by double-digits, it is a huge loss for her.

8. He's right
Polls still show Clinton ahead, albeit by smaller margins. The demographics favor Clinton, and she starts out better known and better established, particularly in Ohio, where she has had the support of Governor Strickland for a while.

I think Obama might be able to take Texas and come close in Ohio, but I am not counting her out yet.

11. Based on Ohio's support for Bush the last 2 elections, Ohioians aren't the sharpest knives in the
drawer. HRC will take it by 10%.

9. From Clinton's internal polling - she is ahead in both states
No way to know if it is true.

According to the adviser and donor, Hillary advisers are telling people -- when they're sounding optimistic tones designed to sooth jittery donors -- that the campaign's internal polling shows her up over five points in her key firewall states of Ohio and Texas.

"The lowest number I've heard from them is eight,"
the donor tells me. The campaign won't publicly discuss such numbers for fear of creating unrealistic expectations.

The adviser and donor tell me that the argument being made from inside is that if she can win both those states by between five and 10 points, she can at least begin to close Obama's lead in pledged delegates to within somewhat more manageable numbers.

15. Andrea Mitchell said she was told
that the Clinton camp is worried because the trends in Texas are starting to go against her. She did not say anything about Ohio though.

12. Either you have the Momentum and are frontrunner or you
are not. Having things both ways is getting tiring.

14. I still think Hillary will win Texas
by around 5%, and win OH by around 9%-11%. Until she actually calls it quits, I will never underestimate the Clinton machine.
