McCain is mad at reporters.
The Maverick is mad at reporters. Newsweek reports that the McCain campaign — including the senator himself — is so bitter about the recent New York Times story that it is shunning campaign reporters to the back of the plane:

John McCain’s campaign plane is usually a pretty jovial place to be. <…>

But in the aftermath of today’s New York Times story looking at McCain’s dealings with a Washington lobbyist, the mood is decidedly different. Before McCain boarded his plane, reporters were asked to sit farther back than usual on the plane. And when McCain finally boarded the plane, he failed to offer his usual wave at reporters and opted to quickly take his seat

1. I guess Mr. Maverick doesn't like it when the MSM doesn't bow down before him.
Thankfully their love affair with McCain may be finally over.

7. He's not shunning them. He's hiding.
There's a lot of questions to ask, and he doesn't want to answer.

10. I don't know how he can look
at himself in the mirror. He is a liar.

I hope this stupid ass relationship the press has had with him is over and that they will expose him to the American people for the fraud that he is.

12. Poor pouting McCain
If one scintilla of evidence comes forth on these allegations, he is going to have a hard, hard time answering any questions.

Maybe he knows the clock is ticking.

19. Trying to Hide the incresed size of the growth on his face
McCain has been camera shy for about 2 weeks. I think it is because the growth on his face has enlarged. See the video in this link judge for your self. Sorry about the advert at the start.

If it is a return of his cancer and it certainly looks like it then can Huckabee win by default? Can the the delegates vote without referring back to the electorate? Can nominees throw their hat back in at all? How will it play with Republican voters who feel disenfranchised? Will there be a backlash against Huckabee? If Huckabee was staying in because he got a tip off about McCain's cancer will he be seen as a ghoul?

22. So are they going to stop calling him a maverick?
Or is McCainLuv in the media finally over? My bet is that he'll be joking and feeding them donuts again within a few days, and they'll forget all about the NYT story.

23. McCain just became Clinton

The Arkansas Project and its rightwing bias was hardly a secret. Nor was that project all that unique. Bill Clinton was hardly the first presidential candidate targeted by an opposition funded organization. So why did the press eat up the crap spoonfed them in 1992?

Because in 1992 following the Gennifer Flowers story, Bill Clinton started shunning the press. He took politics personal and turned on the press causing them to turn on him. While this year Hillary has forced the press corps to ride in an entirely separate plane!

If John McCain turns on the press, then the press *will* return the favor. In 2000 members of the press said they turned against Gore because GW served better food. Seriously.

The cool kids are a bunch of journalist majors (went to college to learn to read and write) specializing in writing about politicians (experts at winning popularity contests). Their shallowness should be expected.

how well that kind of treatment (in the WH, by GS) helped his boss.
