1. To quote Randi quoting Bill Clinton: |
|
"In the primary you get to fall in love. In the general, you fall in line."

10. I've heard Bill Clinton use those phrases differently. |

Bill Clinton has said about Republicans versus Democrats embracing candidates: They want to fall in line, while we want to fall in love.

3. I'm listening, and she talked about falling in love with ALL the candidates |
|
at the beginning of the campaign.
She spoke highly of Biden, Dodd, Richardson - that we were falling in love with our candidates THEN.
Your title is a little misrepresentative of what Randi was saying....

8. I did not misrepresent. The love comment came before she gave the full quote |
|
and started talking about other primary candidates. You missed it.

4. I think that misrepresents the exchange a little. |

The Hillary fan said that Obama supporters treat him like a Messiah, and that gives her pause (in a disturbing way).
Randi responded that Clinton has just as ardent supporters, that it's nothing special, that essentially "that's what falling in love looks like." In other words, people have "fallen in love" with their primary candidate choice. Randi seemed to be saying that the "Messiah" fear is overblown.
