Obviously, Shuster was in the wrong. But I don't think for a minute that he meant what he said literally. Just a very poor and distasteful choice of words.

Shuster should keep reporting and not assume the role of pundit.

I've always liked Schuster, and he's been one of the best real TV political journalists out there for the Democratic side the past few years.
