The Obama$ out$pent Clinton in Wi$con$in TV ad$ nearly 5-to-1
A new study found that Obama outspent Clinton in Wisconsin TV ads nearly 5-to-1. http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/02/22/691873.aspx

You get what you pay for.

and catering instead of campaign ads. :eyes:

If your favorite candidate had outspent the opponent, wouldn't you consider it a brilliant strategy and well-spent money?

6. Funny to hear HRC playing the poor card
Bill said they were running on a "shoestring budget".

If that's true, it's because she ran out of $100 + million. I thought it was bad when Dean went broke in 2004. But her campaign takes the cake for epic mismanagement.

8. LOL! so you're implying he bribed people to vote for him? wow.
you know, the first rule of holes, right?

stop digging when you find yourself in one.

flopsweat and desperation are not helping your candidate at all.

just as an interesting aside: Clinton's had a larger warchest in the beginning, and squandered it on useless people like Mark Penn.
So, YES, you get what you pay for, and if you spend unwisely, you lose.

He is funded largely by small donors who want their voice heard, rather than rich, Dem elite insiders. Glad he had the money from his grassroots donors to get the job done.

22. In VT
neither are spending much. Obama has 7 paid staff in the state. I'm not sure if Hillary has any yet. Pat and Marcella Leahy have done an ad for him, and Ben and Jerry are touring the state in Obamamobiles handing out free ice cream. Don't know about advertising because I don't watch TV. Vermont's in the tank for Obama. Big.

12. Obama runs a well-budgeted and successful campaign
Hillary runs out of money with rooms at the Bellagio, a half mil in parking, etc, and now finds herself financially unable to compete.

Now who should I trust to better spend my tax money?

Now its because Obama has all the money? Clinton has had 100+ million dollars in her coffers this campaign. Why is it so hard for you to accept that Obama simply speaks to and for more members of our party than Clinton? Someone always has to come in second.

If Hillary had not waSted her $100 million $he would have had it to Spend.

If $he cannot run a campaign, she cannot run a country.

Fiscal responsibility is crucial, glad we found out now.

19. that's right. and he's outspending her in OH and TX
if she hadn't blown an INSANE $33,000,000 on fucking asshole consultants like Mark Penn, she'd be in a better position to compete with him on TV ads. BAD judgment spending 1/3 of what you've raised on consulants. That's her tough luck and don't be surprised if you see results similar to Wisconsin in TX and OH.

For once you're absolutely right: You get what you pay for. He got results and she got shit.
