My Five Year Old is For "Bawok"

I asked my five year old today who he thought would be the next president of the United States. He looked at me as if I were asking the most ridiculous question and said, "Bawok. I thought you knew that Mommy." Then I laughed and asked him why he thought so. Then he said, "Because everybody likes Bawok and he have good speeches."

I LAUGHED MY ARSE OFF. How is it my kid knows that Barack has good speeches? I don't even think he has even paid attention or listened to one.

Then my ten year old rolled his eyes and said, "Yeah, everybody knows that. Now can you please fix my PSP?"

I AM OUTDONE.

I read a similar anecdote on the Obama site: A 3-year old is staring at the TV with a puzzled look on his face. A GOP debate was starting and he had just one question: "Where is Rock Abama?"

22. I took my three kids (14, 12 and 5) to see Obama at UWO...

they all did great, but after the looonnnngggg wait outside, the crush of strangers and the volume level of the crowd, my 5 year old was done about 3/4 of the way through and started whining a little bit "No bama, No bama"....my 12 year old (always quick on the uptake) turns to the couple standing next to us and says "Isn't that cute, he's saying GObama"
