Go Mama! (and he says this when he sees Hillary -but only when she wears yellow)



on a side note -- whenever he hears the chimp speak on television --he says "Shaddup"

He is so far non-committal on Senator Obama.

he's been saying "shaddup" to Bush since he first saw him. It was spontaneous (Though I'm sure he heard me say it many times)

Go Mama is brand new today --I've been trying to get him to say it for a year now.

He just blurted it out this afternoon while I was watching Hill clips on "The YouTube" (yes --I call it that now)

If I can get him doing it on video --that'll be awesome, but I've yet to get him to talk on video for any reason.

Dancing is easier --and he loooooves "Hillary 4U and Me". So might be able to get that.

I used to have a Blue Crown Conure named Bappie. Not noisy at all --and the smartest bird (more like a mini macaw)

She died (From respiratory failure after 9-11--I still think it was all the dust in my Brooklyn apartment)

She never talked --but used to imitate sounds (phones, burglar alarms, coffee maker)

Every morning at exactly 7:00am

Every afternoon at about 6:00pm

and everytime I walk into the apartment.


Bappie was only noisy when she saw me --she would get so excited. She also played the best game of peekaboo.

I'll never forget her --and yes I was heartbroken when she died. She was a rescue bird, only 16 years old when I got her --and I only had her for 2 years.

My girlfriend's Parrot is 27, spoiled by his mommy, jealous of me when I visit her, and beautiful. He makes the most wonderful sounds when he's perched outside speaking to other birds. What he says to ME isn't usually all that pleasant unless I'm sharing my food with him. :)
