It's hard for her to find the right balance. Against a republican, she is in her element. You want Hillary running a scorched earth campaign against a republican.

3. I wonder what the Republicans think McCain is going to do for them |
|
syrely it's mor eof the same - Bush. If Bush is on 19% approval - McCain has the same policies.

7. McCain will be a "placeholder" for 2012 |
|
He'll run a one term -- this will motivate the repuke base; especially against Obama.

11. In some domestic policies and on issues of competence, he is not the same as Shrub. |
|
Edited on Fri Feb-22-08 09:03 PM by Carrieyazel
And if he does beat Obama in the general, he'll have bigger Democratic majorites in both houses to deal with that will make his life hell; a Democratic Party that is in clear majority everywhere, and he's unlikely to move the country in a bad direction. So, his presidency is likely to be a placeholder, but I can't see him being anywhere near as bad as this lawbreaking, despicable loony radical right regime. Shrub/Chainee have set a horrendous standard as the absolute worst of all time.

4. McCain will chew up Obama on foreign policy and national security |
|
Clinton needs to win or we'll surely be stuck with 4 more years of GOP control.

12. McCain is another Bob Dole. A war hero, a long-time senator, and a loser. |
|
Here's a slogan: "If you liked Bob Dole, you'll love John McCain."

It's just a reality -- Obama is untested in that regard...well every regard. But the point is those public perception polls mean nothing for someone untouched by right-wing smear campaigns.

14. Ummmm.....the Hillary Campaign has done more than its share of Swift Boating and Obama still stands. |
|
I am very impressed by the way his campaign has responded to the dirt thrown by the Hillary Campaign. Quick Response is effective.
And look at how bad Hillary's Campaign is doing! Does THAT inspire confidence? I think not. Blowing a lead that big?
