Hillary's just bitter cuz she can't get enough people together for a real rally

Somebody ought to be fired – or at least roasted.

You know who you are: the one who signed off on holding a political rally at 9 in the morning, on a work day, on an asphalt parking lot, in the middle of February, in a state with such a temperamental climate.

C'mon. We all know that Hillary Rodham Clinton would like nothing more than to put her party's nomination for president on ice, starting with a motivational win in Texas next month. But did Camp Clinton have to take that goal so literally?

The Barack Obama political roadshow that hit Dallas on Wednesday had the look and feel of a rock concert, right down to the cavernous venue – Reunion Arena – and the 17,000-plus folks he attracted, not to mention the thousands who were turned away.

The Clinton event could easily have been mistaken for a high school pep rally, sans the pompoms. There were no long lines – just a few hundred frozen noses pointed toward a mariachi band and a table loaded with free coffee and burritos.

1. She is werking hard though; the 10pm news here in Houston showed her at a
rally tonight, after all she's been through today. Made me exhausted thinking about it!

8. After her "no more rallys" comment
She'll be be lucky if she gets enough people to fill a phone booth.

3. I think that pretty much sums up the state of the two campaigns
The comparison to the rock concert with thousands turned away, and a high school pep rally.

4. On a side note
it's probably best the rally was outdoors, if you are going to serve coffee and burritos.

5. And I thought I was the only one that thought that, LOL.
I was thinking... Who in the heck is going to eat coffee and burritos at 9am, then go to work? Talk about clearing the lunch room or cubicle row. :puke:
