And polls say he won registered Democrats by 51 to 48%.

1. What do polls say about independents? He has a great ground game!
The pre-planning is paying off. Thanks for sharing!

4. You get what you pay for.
He might have a slim and questionable 'record' and seems to have little to offer other than oratory, but his Elmer Gantry act sure does fill the collection plate.

Why wasnt there a Hillary clean sweep by Feb 5? Would it be all of those suites at the Bellagio that HRC and co blew wild money on in Nevada?

5. Romney self financed, and if I recall, LOST. Obama's money comes from us,
as in small donors. In fact, Hillary is the one who has self financed, not Obama, who is the poorest of all the major candidates.

7. I saw BO-53% to HC-46%.
He outspent her because he has money, and she has debt.

8. Unlike Senator Clinton, Obama had the money to spend in Wisconsin.
And I'm pleased with his use of my donations --- we won.

11. She's had plenty of money
She blows it on things, and playing catch up, spends it on organization rather than adverts.

10. I hope if elected,
Obama doesn't continue to spend
like that. We have one resident
who spends with abandon and look
at the financial state of America
now.

17. So you think Obama was wrong?
Politicians spend campaign donations on their campaigns. Obama spent his campaign donations wisely --- to come from behind in Wisconsin and win the primary.

12. She needs to spend less money on Mark Penn and more money winning over voters
Her campaign isn't Giulliani bad, but it is close.

18. Nice spin. The reality: 0-11
You can crunch these numbers any way you want. You can claim that Wisconsin didn't matter, or Virginia or Maryland. You can claim that life is unfair because Obama is raising money from small contributors at an extraordinary rate, and your candidate's funds are drying up.

Spin away. It's nearly over. With any other candidate going 0 for 11, it would be over, but I grant you that Hillary is tenacious.

19. I guess I'll stop giving him money
Edited on Sun Feb-24-08 10:39 AM by Obama_for_our_future
His supporters are not only greater in numbers than Hillary, they are moved to actually make donations at a much greater rate. Obama is getting his name out there as aggresively as possible to achieve the name recognition of Hillary. I guess he's not smart to spend what he is getting to spend? Edited to say- also, he apparently took Wisconsin more serious than Hillary, many more appearances, more effort here overall. I think his campaign is being run much more effectively than Hillary's campaign.
