Coincidence? McCain hits spending limit - Nader enters the race
Would be curious who is funding St. Ralph's latest diversion.

1. I'm sure it's rich repukes. He gave his price, $10 million about a month ago.
That's who funded his last run.

2. Ding, ding, ding!
McCain has hit the $50M limit for public financing (he shot himself in the foot on that one). Now there has to be something to take the spotlight off the red-hot Dem race so out trots Nader. Will he travel the country in the Green equivalent of the Pope mobile? Let's prop him up and drive him around the country to see who'll wave as he passes by. Don't think even the "true believers" want to see him out there this time.

3. I know one of them...
...complete GOP blueblood, every election cycle since 2000, working to get the vote out for Ralph, then turning around and voting GOP. They know exactly what they are doing.

4. Think it points to their concern with McCain
If the RW had a compelling, energetic candidate, this would be less likely.

Wait a minute, what am I saying. The RW is compulsively driven to use any and every dirty trick or back door tactic regardless of the need. They can't stand the thought of a fair fight.

5. Do you think there will be blowback?
Right now the MSM is enjoying the change of pace Nader has offered. How long until the real reporters start to dig into his funding and tie this back to the Reps? That will make it so very clear that I seriously doubt he'll exceed his 2004 numbers (1/2 mil total).

8. No, not a coincidence. The GOP funded him in 2000, and they'll do it again.
He's a tool, in more ways than one.
