Richardson will be next.

If Hillary doesn't get the point by then,
expect Edwards, Biden, Gore, Reid, and Pelosi to follow in the coming weeks.

They all know now that Obama is the best Nominee for the Democratic Party.

A decision has been made to gently guide Hillary to her withdrawal.
No more time and money should be spent on this Primary battle.
A prolonged fight would only intensify inner party division and give the Repukes more ammo.

It is time to unite the Party and prepare for the General Election.

Hillary made a good run at it, but that is over now.

Bring on Obama!

3. If she can win either OH or TX, I think they're going to PA to see
what happens there. It will be interesting to see if the party leaders allow it to get to that point.

6. They won't let her turn Pa. into Iowa and have her and McCain
tag-team Obama for six weeks. If she doesn't let her ego get in the way, she'll play along and quit.

15. I know we are ready for her in PA
but a huge part of me dreads the Scorched-earth.

The Iowa treatment would be nice, but not at that expense.

7. Either? She needs 60%+ in BOTH to even be viable anymore!
PA is the only large state left. Obama will win in several other states. So where...o...where...will she get enough delegates to tie Obama's lead in pledged delegates and how will she ever catch up with his popular vote totals? Not gonna happen.

She needs 58% of ALL the rest of the states, and some of them are going to go Obama, so she needs to win in the rest by even more.

Mathematically sort of like throwing a dart blind folded and expecting to hit the bulls eye. Possible? With enough beer in you, you might actually believe it is. Likely?

11. I fail to see how she could go on after losing either.
Hell, she's a long shot even if she wins BOTH narrowly.

14. Just repeating what I heard on the boob tube
I'm with you guys, but if Hillary wins OH or TX, I can see her talking herself into going to PA.

It's gotta be tough to walk away from this thing, and it's probably easy to tell yourself you can turn it around.

and it is over. They are just biding their time. The party leaders want to give her a chance to go
gracefully. If not, they are going to have to act quickly. I predict it will be over in two weeks.

8. I agree for many reasons, but...
The fact that Chris Dodd just left the Gang of Five, and now Richardson is supposedly the next to go from that group.... either they're all coming out for Obama, or the Gang of Five reporting has been false.

Gang of Five: Gore, Biden, Dodd, Richardson and... Pelosi.

I'm still guffawing over Pelosi being the fifth member every time I read it, or see it the teevees.

10. I definitely think Pelosi will endorse Obama after the primaries
If he has more pledged delegates. She said in an interview that she doesn't think the superdelegates should decide this, and all of her close allies except for Murtha (still neutral) have endorsed Obama. If she endorsed him, it could probably deliver a bunch of the undecided House members.

21. After March 4th, if Hillary doesn't get out, there will be a flood of Super Dems going to Obama
One by one, every day, some Democrat of standing will endorse Obama. Her conduct the past week has demonstrated she's prepared to tear up every coalition we have on the outside chance she can get one more delegate somewhere.
