Obama Supporters: Nafta Question |

Ok, I live in Canada and our Labour and Environmental standards are already, on the whole, tougher than in the US. If we 'normalize' these things under a renegotiated NAFTA does that mean that ours have to come down?
By the way, alot of people here would be thrilled at the prospect of dumping NAFTA altogether.

Expecting Mexico to live up to your environmental standards is not realistic. Although frankly I think that we should expect more out of them.
