Obama Was Presidential Tonight. |
|
Edited on Tue Feb-26-08 11:11 PM by sparosnare
Chris Matthews proclaimed Obama isn't nearly as fun as he is in front of a crowd giving speeches and why would he be? There's a time and a place for everything, and Obama clearly knows when to use his inside voice.
The argument is silly that he should 'perform' in a debate as he does at a rally.
Obama did what he needed to do tonight. He remained calm, answered the questions and did not allow himself to be baited into an argument. He won the debate.

5. Yes, he was presidential tonight. He always is. |
|
He doesn't get down in the muck and get petty like Hillary tends to do 4-5 times a debate.

He was calm, clever, quick but thoughtful. Dignified. Confident. Reassuring. I would sleep well knowing he was on watch in the White House.
