MSNBC Fight Was Rigged: McCain Was the Winner (and He Didn't Even Have to Step in the Ring)
Edited on Tue Feb-26-08 11:26 PM by McCamy Taylor
I don't know what boxing match the rest of you were watching, but what I saw was Tim Russert at his slimy worst bringing up every piece of muck he could rake and poking every ant hill he could find and fanning every spark he could spot in hopes of setting off a fire that would convince Americans

1. that Hillary is an evil Bitch Queen who wants to rule the world

and 2. Obama is a scary Muslim Mole with no experience

and the two of them can not decide whether they want to kill each other or run away with each other.

I guess the Pentagon does not care that John McCain is a crooked politician that will sell his vote for cash and some action on the side. They want a war hero president, and they expect GE's media mouthpiece to see to it that he is elected.

The boys at MSNBC done McCain proud tonight.

America salutes them.

:puke:

PS Just a reminder, here is Pat Buchanan's plan that he made for Nixon to use in 1972 against McGovern

"COVERT OPERATIONS -- We should have as many of these down there as needed to conduct harassment exercises, and embarrassment exercises for the Democrats. They should have no connection at all with the GOP Observation Post, and should be directed out of here, as they have been in the past.

"They should be able to help put demonstrations together, get leaflets out, start rumors, and generally foul up scheduled events -- and add to the considerable confusion and chaos that will inevitably exist."

It continued:

"The preparation of attacks on one Democrat by another -- and 'endorsements' of one Democrat by another, which has to be repudiated, are examples of what can be done. Nothing should be done here, incidentally, which can seriously backfire and anything done should be cleared by the highest campaign authority. The Secret Service, it should be noted, will be all over Miami; and any activity will have to take into consideration their capabilities.

"We should guard here against a) anything which enables the Democrats to blame us for the mess which takes place in Miami Beach; b) anything which can be traced back to us and c) anything which is so horrendous as to damage us, if the hand is discovered."

The memo was labeled "CONFIDENTIAL"

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/national/longterm/watergate/stories/buchananmemo.htm

Notice that Russert used the Bad endorsement strategy by forcing Obama to acknowledge that Farrakhan has endorsed him and then forcing him to repudiate the endorsement. Very embarrassing for Obama in the general and also in the primary since it forces him to choose between interest groups.

And of course the "Democrat attacks Democrat" strategy was all over the debate.

The goal is to make both Obama and Hillary look as corrupt and cynical as McCain (isn't supposed to be) so that we will see threads spring up on DU about how much they are both alike and both like Bush. So that this will be 2000 all over again, only this time it will be Obama is the same as McCain. Except he is also a scary Muslim.
