The words "I apologize" or "I'm sorry" were never said.... REGRET is not the same as apology...
...and apology is asking for forgiveness.

Saying "I want that vote back" is NOT an apology.

triangulated and had to be asked a second time.

8. What she said was disingenous
She said she's repeatedly stated that if she had known then what she knew now, she would not have voted for the IWR. The thing is, this is the first time she's ever said it.

She just have never used the words "I was wrong" like Edwards did. How far did that get Edwards? The same people demanding she utter those words are the same people who attacked Edwards for the AUMF anyway despite his apology...

and yes, all of their judgment was shit.

Kucinich is the only one of this year's candidates who never has to feel like he owes anyone an explanation or apology. Even to this day, both Hillary and Obama continue to enable the war by voting to fund it time and time again.

32. Through the looking glass
Clinton does not apologize for IWR and this thread asks why something that never happened is not discussed.
Except this thread which does mention the thing that does not exist and questions why it is not mentioned.

My head hurts.

42. Regret vs Sorry closer than Denounce vs Reject
Edited on Tue Feb-26-08 11:31 PM by sanjiadem
Regret: 1. to feel sorrow or remorse for (an act, fault, disappointment, etc.): He no sooner spoke than he regretted it; 4. a feeling of sorrow or remorse for a fault, act, loss, disappointment, etc.
Sorry: 1. feeling regret; 2. regrettable or deplorable; unfortunate; tragic

Nanner, Nanner ...
