Nobody watching this coverage can deny that the media are shills
... for Obama. It's an exact replica of how they elected George Bush in 2000. Of particular note is how they pretend they don't think it shows bias do consistently give her the questions first. In fact, they couldn't even IMAGINE why she would think that was unfair. Funny then that the three people in my living figured it out DURING the debate. She is basically being forced to tutor him on his answers prior to him having to answer them himself.

He didn't have a clue what to say about Russia, Afghanistan, Kosovo, or most foreign policy issues. Even with the forced assist by her, he couldn't muster coherent answers without her answers to prep him first. For media pundits to pretend they don't get that's an extreme advantage they afforded him pretty much proves they are doing nothing but shilling for him.

Our media is completely pathetic. And she still kicked his ass. He's going shift our focus to Afghanistan and he hasn't held a SINGLE oversight hearing on the subject in 15 months? Jesus, it's the incompetent Bushies all over again.

When you are in a debate, YOU always want to anaswer LAST! That gives you the advandage to not only think about how you want to answer, but to know what your oponent(s) position is! I caught that right away, and anyone who is a student or remembers what it was like being a student, would have caught that right away too!

I voted for Barack, but the media comentary from EVERYONE except people from her campaign really has me pissed off! It's been going on for a LONG TIME. If you just accept it now, how are you going to feel when it switches from Obama to McCain???????

While Obama talked on and on with no interruption. It was so awful, I really felt for Clinton. And despite the leg-up they gave Obama, and the constant battering of Clinton, she held her own.

I will like to see the amount of time each candidate got to speak. They gave him so much more respect. I bet Timmy and Tweety high-fived each other after and said, "that ought to take care of the bitch."

87. that is a vicious thing to say
your remark was nasty

Hillary is a brilliant progressive, she continually astounds me, her grit, her brilliance, her determination, her increbible eloquence and command of the issues and facts....amazing how she was asked that super obscure factual question about the name of the Russian politician now in power, and she knew it!

Hillary makes Obama look inarticulate and unknowledgeable in comparison.....

Hillary is villified in the media, this has been constant throughout her campaign

she is attacked unmerfifully, while Obama is treated with kid gloves

there are numerous theories out there explaining this

one that has quite a bit of traction is that many men feel castrated by a woman in power....they are misogynists at heart, they cannot stand the idea of a woman getting such a position of political power....they want to destroy her....

unfortunately, many people are susceptible, followers....they are swayed by a few slogans

Obama will probably get the dem nomination, but it's our nation's loss

And it's what made me start to feel a little cautious about Obama, and then eventually downright skeptical and suspicious.

One thing we should ALL know by now... when the media is for something, it's a very good indicator that it's a REALLY BAD FUCKING IDEA.

But what makes the media money? Lots and lots of news and people interested in that news. News like wars, big events, controversial news. Now suddenly we're to believe they have our very best interests at heart for a peaceful, prosperous country? Right.

75. Did you note the tone in Obama's voice when he said...
"I've BEEN a little busy" when asked why he hadn't had a single oversight hearing on Afghanistan? Not a single one in 15 mths. Brimming with indigence that his precious campaign would be interrupted with such trivialities.

Here's an idea, if you don't have time to do the job don't brag about having it, and better yet, let someone have it that will actually enforce the proper oversight.

He really sickens me.

77. Here we go
Ever since this campaign started, it was Clinton was the inevitable nominee. Only recently when Obama has started to do very well, has that stopped.

People are starting to decide that they want Obama because of the inspiration and authenticity he projects, and everyone behind Clinton says "Wait, something is unfair!" How could Hillary possibly be losing if everything is on the level in this race? It must be the media, or sexism, or some scheme from the right.

The fact is, at the end of the day Obama is the better candidate between the two. I know Hillary fans don't like that fact, but you can't keep coming up with excuses. Eventually you have to admit that she hasn't been as strong a candidate.

The media decided for you that you were going to have a choice between the two most unlectable democrats. That you could watch Clinton, Gore, Kerry, Dean, and now Clinton be smeared by the media, soon to be followed by Obama if he does get the nod, and still not get it just tells me there really is no hope for this country. Reality is going to kick you guys so hard in the ass it will be painful for ALL of us to watch.

She's the one who wanted this so-called debate. It was totally pointless with all their ignorant questions. Such nonsense. She's lucky he took time out of his busy schedule (talking directly to voters) to participate. If her supporters don't like how it played out, then blame her. Barack didn't ask for it. The nerve of you to complain after egging her on as she tried to coerce him into debates with her. Too bad her plan to trip him up didn't work. Oh well, that was her last chance...GoBama!

Biden Warns of Failure in Afghanistan

By JOHN HEILPRIN – 1 day ago

NEW YORK (AP) — Sen. Joseph Biden on Monday called for more U.S. aid for Afghanistan and deeper NATO involvement there, saying failure could also have dire consequences for neighboring Pakistan.

NATO must be "fully in the fight" in Afghanistan — nothing less than the future of the alliance is at stake, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee told a luncheon crowd at the Council on Foreign Relations.

"Many of our NATO allies thought they were signing up for a peacekeeping mission, not counter-insurgency operations," said Biden, D-Del. "Many are fighting with incredible bravery in the south. But the so-called "national caveats" are making a mockery of NATO — and the notion of a unified mission." http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5iKbORLXdbh3i0_YhwPxYjlqTIj1AD8V1MOVG0
