One MORE WEEK! One MORE WEEK! |
|
it is my belief we will see a terrific result for Obama in both Ohio and Texas. Even if he just narrowly loses both states, I think the delegate count is just too much in his favor. I happen to think he'll just narrowly win Texas, but we'll see. I never take anything for granted.
I am soooooooo hopeful (eww...I used the bad word 'hope') that Obama can seal the deal with a strong performance in both states, Hillary will realize she is just dragging out the inevitable and the whole Democratic party can unite behind a presumptive nominee in defeating John "Crazy Eyes" McCain.

and I am optimistic. I have a "feeling" that the results here will surprise people, just like Iowa did. Just like Virginia did. Etc.

4. I hope you're right. I think he'll win more delegates than Clinton next Tues. |
|
he may not win Ohio, but I think it will be closer than she could ever have imagined.
I wish Hillary no ill. Now that the conclusion is starting to look more solid about nominee....I've taken pause and actually feel for Hillary in a way. She is trying hard, and I bet people from New York are especially proud of her.

3. Wisconsin was the one that really made me jump up and dance |
|
there was not a smattering of momentum for Hillary after that Obama victory, and it had been a very strong lead for Clinton not that long before. Now we see the same pattern that once a state's voters get a chance to see Obama and really focus on who he is....they're convinced.

10. they have early voting in Texas? |
|
heavens yes. we need to see as many Obama supporters as possible vote ahead of time and then spend election day reminding and driving others to vote.

11. No need to worry about that |
|
Obama has a very well crafted campaign, he will line up buses if they are far enough away, he will setup campaign centers on the same street as the polling centers and he educates the locals on how their system works. His campaign is a well oiled machine.

12. I hope so. because Dems need this ground game in November too. |
|
I sooooo want this to be a statement. If Obama wins by like 5 million votes and carries 35 to 40 states he can say..."For those who may be confused....THIS is a mandate."

5. I think he takes TX and gets reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal close in OH... |
|
...and that will leave the ball firmly in HRC's court as to whether she wants to bow out gracefully, or whether she wants to continue her campaign of irrelavance and bitterness...

6. exactly. that is what I believe too. |
|
and it would be a really sad cold bucket of water in my face to see her go that route. I mean, at that point even a win would be so hollow, demoralizing, etc.
We have the momentum and excitement advantage. We have the advantage of being the rational change from the horrifying Bush years.
Why blow it by getting bitter and hanging in there to play political games with FLA and MI delegates, strong arm superdelegates, etc.

Hillary does not get the massive victory in both states she needed!
On second thought....Obama wins Ohio by 2 points!

In my really wishful and optimistic mood I hope the next week keeps him making inroads and then winning Texas by 10% and Ohio by 2%
