33. This kind of bigotry encouraged in GDP. Fat jokes, of course. |
|
How appropos of GDP. As if Al's contributions to humanity weren't ten thousand times above the posters in this forum, but not as long as Al is considered above the "normal" weight and size.

I know a lot of people wanted Gore to run but I don't really get it. I find Obama and Clinton, as well as a lot of the other candidates who have dropped out, more appealing.
I think Gore is to be commended for his work on global warming, but I wouldn't want him to see him run for president again.

The man is a visionary.
I remember that statement in the debate at that time, and he was quoted tonight by Timmy.

8. You can bet your sweet ass |
|
That Albert Gore is paying very close to these elections as he does for all things that matter.
You can bet your sweet ass
That he is a behind the scene person that is involved and observant
I hope he is pushing the right buttons I know he is.

It is looking pretty grim at the moment. Down to two candidates who are barely electable at best, running the nastiest primary campaign in living memory. I hold out little hope for us in November.

34. No for two reasons -- |
|
1) I like where he is now. He has a good cause to champion and he's doing a splendid job.
2) We need to turn the fucking page on 2000's theft and the Clintons. Al knows that and so do I. I wish more people here got that.
That said, I wouldn't be upset if there was a President Gore... this current Gore... not that twisted, awkward, mis-managed thing in 1999. Which means, of course, its a total impossibility for this Gore to be President.

believe he would have the nomination sewn up by now and we'd already be kicking repuke ass. Instead we're in a giant pissing contest that weakens our prospects in the fall.
