Claire McCaskill on Morning Joe kicking ass when asked if Obama was ready to run the country. No one can deny that the way his campaign has been run shows remarkable leadership ability.
Hell yes.

You wrote a thread filled with absurd claims about how it was over for Obama because there was a dearth of attendees at a rally of his in OH. That thread was such a joke, it's become DU legend.
Hey, notice the new OH polls? Obama's within a few pts of Clinton in OH? Remember your endless predictions about how she's crush him in OH?

and she's been competitive with money up until January. Her problems started long before that. She had no staff and no offices in state after state. Her expenditures tell the story. She's spent $33,000,000 on consultants.

A combination of both. Yesterday (?) someone posted a link to information on how the two candidates spent thier funds. Reading the article it sounded as though Obama has been much more efficient with his campaign contributions than Hillary.
In the end, don't we want a president who won't squander thier money?

16. Inception to date fundraising numbers |
|
Edited on Wed Feb-27-08 09:23 AM by yourguide
Through the end of January:
HRC: 134 million Obama: 138 million
Essentially 3% difference in totals, however the difference in spending shows she blew a TON of money.
This "Barack Obama is outspending me" whiney BS is just that, BS. They wasted money on suites at the Bellagio, Obama spent money where it counts.

5. How smoothly he has run his campaign has been incredibly impressive. |

As a fanatic for Tudor history I keep being reminded of how Queen Elisabeth the first's leadership was so enhanced by the caliber of most of her advisors.
OTOH Mary Queen of Scots really was surrounded by duplicitous, conniving, power mongers. That lack of discernment cost Mary her head.
Just saying.
