MoDo slams Hillary:

After saying she found her “voice” in New Hampshire, she has turned into Sybil. We’ve had Experienced Hillary, Soft Hillary, Hard Hillary, Misty Hillary, Sarcastic Hillary, Joined-at-the-Hip-to-Bill Hillary, Her-Own-Person-Who-Just-Happens-to-Be-Married-to-a-Former-President Hillary, It’s-My-Turn Hillary, Cuddly Hillary, Let’s-Get-Down-in-the-Dirt-and-Fight-Like-Dogs Hillary.

Just as in the White House, when her cascading images and hairstyles became dizzying and unsettling, suggesting that the first lady woke up every day struggling to create a persona, now she seems to think there is a political solution to her problem. If she can only change this or that about her persona, or tear down this or that about Obama’s. But the whirlwind of changes and charges gets wearing.

Ouch!

2. So Dowd is going after Sen. Clinton the same way she did Gore.
No worries about too much positivity in her columns.

3. as if Obama hasn't changed and varied his approaches with different venues
I think the pettiness and one-sidedness of these types of complaints against Hillary Clinton is apparent to most fair-minded voters.

I wonder though, have Obama supporters here run out of substantive things to promote from their candidate? All we see these days are promotions of the lowest common elements of their opposition to Sen. Clinton. This is what we're facing from an Obama administration? I'd be beside myself with anxiety if I thought the pettiness here at DU was actually a true representation of the Obama campaign.

4. Obama's fine tuning & honing not the same as the weird and drastic changes in HRC tactics
If a columnist points out some facts and it is reported here, it is not pettiness. Claiming it is pettiness is, well, petty.

6. Sadly there is something to this
I am remembering a psychology class I took in 1993. Theories of Personality. At one point the professor pointed out how personality is something that sometimes a projection of intentional appearance may be a reflection of what someone wants to convey about their personality.
He specifically pointed out the evolution of our most recent first lady and how her shifting "personality" projections corresponded with her public life.
Thus, her experience in the games of politics appears to be a little rusty. Because, if for political benefit, those "modifications" of projection are supposed to be smooth transitions and go unnoticed.
