Mukasey instructing states to purge voter rolls

According to Thom Hartmann and Ellen Ratnor yesterday, the Attorney General, who should have plenty to do prosecuting the daily high crimes of the Bush administration, is writing letters to various GOP operatives in the states, telling them to get busy aggressively removing people from the voter rolls.

Anyone have a suggestion on what to do about this?

Especially in the swing states, especially in the precincts they always target - black, military, student and low income urban.
