Hillary had the best line of the debate
She was asked about her promise to create 5 million jobs. Apparently, when running for Senate in 200, she promised to create 200 thousand jobs in upstate New York, a region which has since seen a net loss of 30 thousand jobs. She answered, "In 2000, I thought Al Gore was going to be President."

2. Well, he was elected President but was blocked from taking office....
IMHO.

Yeah, good line. If Gore had been President, we would have seen all those jobs and more.

I like Obama, but it seems Obama supporters forget the economic success that Clinton/Gore represented. I don't know how Obama is going to do what he Hopes to do. Team Clinton have a track record.

YES WE CAN!

OK, How will we?

But I still will vote Obama over McBush.

6. Well, actually it is in a way...
1> because the president holds great power over the economy.

2> because the presidency was stolen from Gore.

3> because Gore would not have done what W did to destroy this country.

4> because it shows humor

5> because it shows humility (yeah, I was wrong, but I was wrong about Gore taking his rightful office too).

7. She made that projection thinking Al Gore
would be the next President, not *bush. No one in the Democratic party even imagined *bush would steal the 2000 Election.

8. That was a good line
I was surprised it did not draw applause.

My favorite line of the debate from a personal standpoint was when Obama said he wouldn't be there if it weren't for the Jews who participated in the civil rights movement. I found that very heartwarming.
