Sounds Like Last Nights Debate was Interesting |
|
....I had to work and got home very late only to be able to watch the Olberman post debate comments.
Sounds to me like Hillary didn't fair to well....again her biggest mistake is always sounding arrogant and angry. And what was her comments about always being first?????....she was out of steam from that point on.
Obama again proved he can remain composed and level headed....that is the type of person we need to lead this country...not someone who feels as though the office of the POTUS is an entitlement.

1. So you are basing your entire view |
|
on a debate that you didn't watch and then are depending on the hearsay of others?
brilliant.

5. There is a reason each campaign has people in spin ally |
|
Right after the debate, because many of the talking points and conventional wisdom about the debate is generated in the post debate wrap up.
Watching the coverage of a debate is often a better measure for people with strong canidate preferences because of bias, if most people disagree with you about what is more or less a popularity contest then you are wrong.

2. They both said they would honor the Constitution |
|
They failed to do so while in office. Why would I trust them now?

3. It wasn't that great. More comedy and tongue in cheek than |
|
any real substance. Both candidates were good.

4. I thought they both did well |
|
They both played to their strengths very well. Hillary Clinton was extremely detailed and on-point, and Obama was also a lot more substantive than I often give him credit for.
I have to say though, I don't think I can sit through too many more of these debates, especially if Tim Russert is the moderator. He was a douchebag and half last night, and it was really painful to watch.
