A song for HRC
Where you lead,
I will follow.
You have been so strong so long.
Where you head,
I see sorrow,
Eased by knowing
Right from wrong.

Take them on,
Show them facts,
Reclaim the moral high ground,
When describing fair tax.

Real benefits,
Real risks.
Real advantages
Heal social rifts.

You chose a life of service,
Knowing the price would be applied.
No good deed will go unpunished,
No weak spot untried.

But you know you're right when,
As predicted, the powers that be
Turn as one.
To counter the tide,
Maintaining her stride.
Defining our side,
I follow with pride.

13. It may be lost on you, but out here in the real world, HRC is a
champion of causes going way back. I'm recognizing that which is in fact quite meaningful.

You've got nothing to compare, so why don't you stop while you're behind?

Hail to the bus driver,
Bus driver!
Bus driver!
Hail to the bus driver,
Bus driver man.

He yells and he cusses,
and crashes the busses,
Hail to the bus driver,
Bus driver man.

He steps on the clutch
and the toilet goes flush.
Hail to the bus driver,
Bus driver man.

6. Oh yeah...
Best two lines:

"Where you head,
I see sorrow."

True that.

11. You have to face the pain before healing can begin. I've seen HRC
face it personally and respond well. Whatever happens in this campaign, her legacy is awesome.

7. Cute
Nice, creative tribute. I like it. Reminds me of the "Dean for America" song I wrote in 2004 to the tune of "Ain't That America" by John Mellencamp.

12. This one has a complex melody structure A B C. I like operatic pieces
but keep the range reasonable. No, I don't think they'd sound alike at all, should I record this one.

17. .
Born to lose, I've lived my life in vain
Every dream has only brought me pain
All my life I've always been so blue
Born to lose and now I'm losing you.

Born to lose, it seems so hard to bear
How I long to always have you near
You've grown tired and now you say we're through
Born to lose and now I'm losing you.

Born to lose, my every hope is gone
It's so hard to face that empty dawn
You were all the happiness I knew
Born to lose and now I'm losing you.

There's no use to dream of happiness
All I see is only loneliness
All my life I've always been so blue
Born to lose and now I'm losing you
Born to lose and now I'm losing you.

19. These are the days, my friend
When I think about another day,
When my friends will be glad to stay.

There will be times when we will say,
"I'm awfully glad to have come this way."

The road was lonely,
And it was long.
You soothed yourself,
With silly songs.
You made some friends,
You've seen them gone.
But you've lived long enough,
To tell enough,
To carry on.

It's a cruel world, but you'll survive.
The others did,
And now they thrive.
We've made the Times and we can say,
We're awfully glad to have come this way.
