• By our elected officials, national, state, and county, who 9 out of 10 times are just folks like you and me, honest people doing their jobs to the best of their abilities.
  
• By our party officials like Howard Dean and the other DNC members, who spend countless, thankless hours in long meetings, and don't get enough praise and thanks for taking the time to take care of our party.
  
• By our candidates, who sometimes run and don't win, but try anyway, and keep the dialog going while they're at it.
  
• By our precinct chairs, who (mostly) try to run things fairly and keep the flag flying for the party even in the off-years, when things certainly aren't this exciting.
  
• By our activists, who get out there and blockwalk, poll greet, write letters to the editor, and phone bank. Here's to you!
  
• And by our voters, who, this year, are showing up at the polls in great numbers. Hurrah!

Yes, the world is run by those who show up. So here is a BIG SHOUT OUT to all of you who take the time to show up! :toast: This is a fantastic country and I am so happy to see all of the people who CARE so much about our future, and who get out and PARTICIPATE.
