Why I Think Obama Can Take Ohio |
|
If we take a look at Wisconsin, Hillary held the lead until about 7 days before the election and it started to turn, Obama was 7 points back. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/wi/wisconsin_democratic_primary-270.html#pollsWe still have 9 days to go and Obama has closed the gap to 6 points. http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2008-02/27/content_7678381.htmUnless something major happens to really slow his momentum here, I think he takes the state in the same way he took Wisconsin.

1. Let's hope all the Obama supporters who jumped into |
|
the pool over the last 2 weeks were registered to vote in a timely fashion.

6. This one is espousing the theory that no one in the state |
|
was pro-Obama back on Feb 3rd when registrations needed to be filed.
Something about lazy people and students and all.
Thread is around here somewhere.

7. Yeah, that's what I thought they were getting at. Wanted to be sure, though. |

Strict adherence to voting procedures should always trump the right of people to cast a ballot, especially when they're stupid fucking children who don't get that 'experience matters!'

2. If he wins Texas, who CARES as long as Ohio is close? |
|
Even WITH Florida and Michigan delegates seated, HRC can't get the nomination without blowouts in Texas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, and we all know that's probably not going to happen at this point.
Hillary's camp knows this, and I'm betting she does too.

What he needs to do is having a better showing in the Greater Cleveland area than he's currently polling, he needs to do better in Columbus (Franklin County), and he needs to expand his lead in Toledo. If he does that, he will win the state.
