There should be no doubt that Obama is the strongest person to run against McCain
In these one-on-one debates, it's Hillary who has made "tone deaf" comments and Obama who has been the constant cool-under-pressure candidate who has shown he can quickly respond to anything thrown at him (and even turn it around on them with a smile). He's a sure thing. With Hillary, you never know "which Hillary is going to show up." And with his rapid response to McCain, it should be clear even to Hillary supporters that he can MORE than handle McCain.

The polls are consistent...
... in showing Obama matching against McCain about 8 points better than HRC.

And why wouldn't they - HRC and McCain are almost alike on the big issues, and given the choice between a real Republican and a fake one, voters will pick the real one every time.

4. LMAO -- oh man you guys really need a reality pill
Do you realize Kerry was 10% ahead of Bush in national polling at this point in 2004, and that in most polls Obama is losing to McCain by several points. By my count, John friggin Kerry is a stronger candidate to run against McCain.

Buy some tickets on the reality train.

6. Hillary just blown it
Aside from those aspects she has little control over (her tone/delivery isn't always great, labeled as divisive over the years), she blew all the advantages she had with Democrats over the years. She was the spouse of a popular ex president. She is very intelligent, sharp, and disciplined. And she seemed to have made few mistakes early on.

But it looks like she became overconfident and underestimated Obama. And later, when it started unraveling and she began slipping in the polls, the attacks became nastier and more desperate. I feel some sympathy for her rth. She doesn't strike me as a bad person and while I've said some things that weren't kind, I think she has worked hard for her constituents and is a good senator.

26. it's all about electoral college vote. only polls I've seen on FL & OH vs mccain:
SurveyUSA 2/22, OHIO
McCain 42, Clinton 52, Und 6
McCain 44, Obama 47, Und 9

Rasmussen, 2/20, OHIO
McCain 42, Obama 41, Und 17
McCain 46, Clinton 43, Und 11

Rasmussen, 2/18 FLORIDA
McCain 49, Clinton 43, Und 8
McCain 53, Obama 37, Und 10

I personally don't think GE polls this many months out mean too much, but FWIW ...

Of course, there's still NH, Iowa, NM, WI, and good chances for Colo, MO, Nev, with VA not out of question.

52. How many times has OBAMA been booed in their one-on-one debates?
How many different personalities has Hillary presented in an attempt to "knock out" Obama? How many times has Obama gotten laughs/applause? Obama's been consistently confident in these debates while Hillary has had "clinkers" in both debates. And her supporters thought those clinkers were good lines.

55. NATIONAL POLLS.. I would love to see
where the national poll showing McCain winning to Obama. As far as I was informed about a week ago, Obama was the better candidate to beat McLame.

Why the change?

Besides, I don't believe in those polls.. however, Obama should be careful and watch McLame. He is full of shit.. and last night he proved it when he condemmed cunnigham's comments and defended Obama.
that was a strategy to look the maverick he has always tried to portrait. Obama must not fall asleep on McCain. He needs to push his buttons so Mclame can explode.
