I would love to see Hillary on the Supreme Court. I think she'd be an excellent choice for a justice. I don't know if she'd want a position on the Supreme Court but I think, ultimately, she'd be a great justice.

For disclosure purposes, I am an Obama supporter and I don't hate Hillary. This question isn't being asked with malice. I'm just curious what people think would be the best path for Hillary in the future IF she doesn't get the nom.

6. I would take her over Reid any day.
She's got the spine for the job. And I mean that in the most positive way possible.

4. I think she stays in the senate and sees where the lay of the land is
It may mean she tries to be senate majority leader.

It may mean she just goes back and throws herself into her job like Kerry did after he lost.

Who knows, maybe 2012 is in the cards for her. Who ever thought 4 years ago we would be in the position we are in now? Nobody can tell what will happen 4 years from now.

10. I've been arguing for the Supreme Court thing for weeks now.
Freed from day-to-day partisan politics, I think she could be the next Earl Warren. And nothing would drive the RW further around the bend, would it?

14. Work for justice with regard to gender issues
Progressive leaders: Al Gore on the environment, John and Elizabeth Edwards on poverty, and Hillary on gender issues. Awesome.

Of course, I hope Hillary has a long Senate career, too.
