BREAKING - Bloomberg not running
By SARA KUGLER
Associated Press Writer

NEW YORK (AP) -- After two years of playing coy about his presidential ambitions, Mayor Michael Bloomberg declared in a newspaper editorial Wednesday that he will not run for president but might support the candidate who "takes an independent, nonpartisan approach."

4. And...do you think he is scared to run against Obama? I hope for his endorsement, that's for sure.

5. Im still leaning towards my first theory that it was Obama/Bloomberg ticket
And thats what the discussion of Bloomberg running was. Mostly as a lifeline to the self financing he could bring to the ticket if he had to. Now I think he may be comfortable with where Obama is and that his direct involvement in the ticket is no longer needed.

I still think he might, but the next shocker in that circle is that it moves the possibility of a similarly shocking VP in Obama/Chuck Haegel

:sarcasm:

edit: Though, I have to admit it would have been nice to see a spolier for GOP/Independents going for McCain. Still, I have the utmost confidence that either of our candidates will wail on McCain in the GE - even with Nader's vanity plate candidacy playing spoiler.
