Hillary has 9,233,040 and he Obama has 8,956,604 votes (without Fla, Mi)
NYT letter to the editor:
I did a quick check of the total number of votes, using data posted by CNN... without Michigan, and adding primary votes and caucus votes (I know they are not equivalent, but this shows the stupidity of the caucus system), and including Florida (where both candidates where equally placed). Hillary has 10,090,248 and Obama has 9,525,645 votes.

If we take out Florida, she has 9,233,040 and he Obama has 8,956,604.

So, why does media never tell this story?

No, so far she seems to be ahead.

If it’s democracy, let it be. "

43. The Poster did say since Super Tuesday.
and THE TRUTH IS THAT IS HAS BEEN PRETTY UGLY.

He is ahead of her in Deleglates in pledged delegates,, In Popular vote and in states won, Notwithsatnding the facts, I will say again:

If she wins both Ohio and Texas we have a real horse race. I

If she loses Texas and draws in Ohio with a small margin... I think she has to deal with the financial reality and the party unity issues.

If she loses both.....She needs to understand that while she is entitaled to run the chancess of stopping or even slowing Obama's momentum are very small and the party has every right to start pressuring her to get out so that Obama can bring the party together early and start putting the GE operation in place. Were I Obama, in this scenarioI would give her the Keynote. I would suggest to her that I'd support her to be the new majority Leader and ask her to lead the effort on health care reform.

21. So when you count the actual number of voters...
I mean, you know, when you get rid of all that bullshit spin likes let's pretend FL didn't vote, looks like they are about even. So much for the Obama is "trouncing" her meme.

Another very interesting fact... while Obama won the WA state caucuses by 30%, when they had the primary a few weeks later, where 3x as many people voted, he won by 3%.

It's interesting that when you actually count the voters (remember them) he doesn't seem to be nearly as preferred as the media makes him out to be. These are numbers I am sure the super delegates will take into account.

41. Considering
that crew missed the deadline for filing their delegates in PA, and even after they filed under the extended deadline and they were still short, considering they had no idea how the tx primary worked, and considering how they had as much money as Obama through the end of January but are somehow getting outspent 5 to 1 in some markets because they blew it...at this point, absolutely nothing out of that camp would shock me. Remember that lead balloon they floated "we're going after pledged delegates"...yup, even this wouldn't surprise me coming out of Mark Penn's mouth.

35. The WA primary voters INCREASE the margin
Counting MI is ridiculous because he was not on the ballot following the request of the party. It also says that Maine, Iowa and Nevada weren't included because there were no released official counts - the combination here increases the spread as well - even though HRC won NV by about 5%.

28. Regardless of how you post the numbers or who has the most...
9% difference in their totals is still close.

What matters though are the number of Delegates each candidate has
Obama: 1377
Clinton: 1279

Still 7% difference

Then you have to look a the math, how many delegates are left and can Clinton still gain enough to beat Obama. It is like trailing the football game by 8 points with 6 minutes left to play.

First, the numbers right at Super Tuesday, before Clinton's 11 state loss
Clinton 48.97% (6,967,302)
Obama 48.04% (6,835,447)
(nearly a tie, as you see, with Clinton slightly ahead)

Here it is as of Feb 13th.
Obama 9,373,334 50%
Clinton 8,674,779 46%
Others 726,095 4%

Things have since gotten worse for Clinton. for cryin' out loud.
Reality, it's not just for breakfast anymore.

63. Your OP is Misleading. This is not the complete contest.
I'm going to alert, since you refuse to correct your OP, and obviously want to mislead. Not to mention you didn't post a link to your source.

80. Even the premise admits caucuses and primaries are not equivalent.
It's almost as if the OP is saying, HRC doesn't approve of cauceses (even though the relevant state parties do), and therefore we won't participate or acknowledge the results. State parties are Democratic organizations, and should be respected, except where they violate rules enacted by democratic votes of the national party.
