BREAKING: Negative Hillary posts outnumber positive Obama posts by 3x1
Maybe we should all try to post something constructive and informative that our candidate is doing. Thank you.

1. I Think Wes Clark Should Be More Prominent In Her Campaign
I know he endorsed her and campaigns for her, but very little media attention to that fact.
Nice pic:) :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot:

13. Hear, hear!! I'm a big Wes fan, probably why I support HRC so strongly. You can't
go wrong w/ Wes. I heard he had surgery earlier this week.

21. Wes Clark will remain loyal to Hillary's campaign through thick and thin. The general
is truly a person of impeccable character.

3. BREAKING: Obama posts overall outnumber Hillary posts 10 to 1.
This proves that Hillary people are more negative and should try posting more constructive stuff.

20. There are many more Obama supporters here, more than a 3:1 ratio.
So if there's just a 3:1 ratio in negative posts, that means they're being less negative than the Hillary people. For example, this would be like saying there is a 100:1 ratio of negative posts about Republicans here, thereby proving Republicans are more constructive. It just isn't a logical conclusion.

10. Congratulations on turning this around. Take a look at GD:P lobby and you'll see..
all the negative HRC posts. I'm not slamming you guys, just requesting a change in tone - starting with me.

I find this bickering makes us all meanspirited and the posts meaningless.

30. I appreciate your post
I try and simply avoid threads that are mean spirited. I have seen several that took unfair attacks on Hillary and am generally pleasantly surprised to find Obama supporters coming to her defense. For example there were several threads a couple of days (seems like months ago) that attacked Hillary for defending a rapist early in her career. In the two threads I clicked on there were prominent Obama supporters defending her as being ethically bound to do so.

I probably have missed it but I simply do not see the reverse. If you tell me that you frequently find Clinton supporters defending against Obama I will accept it. If your skeptical pls see this thread

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x4736362

in which attacks against Obama were made without any investigation at all that Obama had threads to the Chicago mafia. Despite asking several prominent Clinton supporters to comment on the charges, no one did.

18. What constitutes a negative post?
I hear both sides saying this and I'm not really clear on their specifications for the arugment. Or does it only pertain to the sexist/racist posts?

23. Neither one is doing much positive for us.
This sort of nit-picking is all we have, given the inertia of Congress. Each of them seems to want to be president, but neither has impressed me as a great leader.

I don't know how you're counting, but I bet a lot of the negative posts are commenting on or reacting to or ridiculing various negative attacks.

35. Great picture.
The 3:1 ratio doesn't surprise me at all. It is why I took to calling this Obama Underground last week - all Obama all the time.

Then I went over to the Editorials section of DU and found the reasonable discussions again. It restored my hope in this place.

36. That's Sexist!
The Hillary minority here not only post way more negative threads about Obama than positive Hillary threads they also dump on every positive Obama thread hear. Your OP is ironic because the title is a flame while the message within attempts to be constructive. Very cute.

The irony is at this late stage all the negative shit is probably not changing any minds - but some folks just love to spew hate and rage and anger.

I think a few (on either side) search the web 23 hours a day for dirt.

Better to tell me what you like about your candidate, then what you don't like about mine. :hi:

39. OR...Maybe it is an indication that DU users, being more grassroots, DON'T LIKE DINO/DLC Democrats!
I find it extremely constructive to tear down ANY DINO/DLC Faux Democrat, who has abandoned the populistic ideals of our Party and has courted the corporate hegemony crowd.

More Democrats LIKE Obama. Tough shit if you can't stomach it.

41. It seems there are better ways to help Hillary than counting posts on an Internet board
I hate to say it, but it rather astounds me someone would take the time to count up posts (not sure of your methodology there, but that's not the point) on an Internet site.

Wouldn't a better use of your time and energy be to join a phone banking team for Senator Clinton and make, say, a couple of hundred phone calls to Texas and Ohio?

DU is not representative of the population on the ground. Please don't waste your time tilting at windmills here. Go out and help her. (Advice from an Obama supporter here.)
