The Big Dawg, talking about experience.....
"The same old experience is irrelevant. You can have the right kind of experience or the wrong kind of experience. And mine is rooted in the real lives of real people, and it will bring real results if we have the courage to change."

--- Bill Clinton, during the 1992 campaign

1. How many people running for president has experience serving as President?
No one. I find it a moot issue.

9. The only candidate I can think of running for president w/ experience being president was...
... Dan Quayle, who served briefly as acting president during Poppy's presidency when the CiC was sick.

2. He was right then...
And he's still right about that now!
Which is why I've supported the "change" candidates in both 1992 AND 2008.:D

B-)

3. Some of us remember the stinker of a speech Bubba gave at the '88 convention.
Compare that to Obama's '04 speech.

Obama is lightyears beyond Bill's understanding of domestic and foreign issues when Bubba ran in '92.

He should shut the hell up, or go back and listen to himself in '88 or '92.

It was planned to be Bill's national coming out party. It was a stinker of a speech. Noxious gases.

5. Sorry, Bubba. Your argument was as valid in 1992 as it is now. Thanks for that.

6. That was my point in posting it.... The Clintons choosing to run on "experience" was a collosal...
...mistake.

Obama is running the same campaign that Bubba ran in 1992..... but without 'bimbo eruptions'.

Hillary is losing because they don't know how to run against their own playbook.

8. Of course. It's rather sad to watch them flail about making these mistakes.
I never in a million years expected the Clintons to run such an incompetent campaign. Hillary had everything going for her. She walked in at 50% with name recognition, party backing, and flush with cash. It takes some epic incompetence to blow that advantage.
