Susan Rice Obama's foriegn policy adviser is pretty sharp
She was on fucker Tuckers show and said QUOTE: Obama will keep a small force behind in Iraq. She was very knowledgeable and Tucker couldn't put her on the spot as he tried

4. He has some really good people on his team--deep in the foreign policy area.
Susan Rice ALWAYS communicates very well when she is on the various shows. I have never seen anyone get the better of her--she knows her stuff.

8. I think he should get all combat troops out. Put them on the border in
Kuwait. We can't end an occupation if we do not leave.

I heard her on another interview (I think it was posted here on DU) and she mentioned that Obama already has a group together that's working on getting us out of Iraq.

EDIT: Oops - CFR. But other than that, amazing!

12. Plenty of the good ones went to Obama
Center for American Progress

Today, Team Hillary finds itself faced with a "Clinton White House in exile" completely awash in Obamamania. CAP's national security team is overwhelmingly pro-Obama, with many members advising the campaign. Executive Vice President for Policy Melody Barnes was an early supporter, while Senior VP for Domestic Policy Cassandra Butts has been an Obama chum since law school. Some veteran Clintonites (such as Smith and Daalder) have joined the revolution. And, among junior staff, Hillary folks are a rare breed. This isn't to suggest there aren't plenty of Clinton devotees still in residence, especially in CAP's upper echelons. But supporters of both candidates say the in-house divide tilts heavily in Obama's favor. (The most equitable guesstimate I heard was a 60-40 split.) The quasi-joke around CAP's H Street offices is that members of Team Hillary now snarkily refer to the group as the Center for Obama's Progress. Responds Podesta with an awkward chuckle, "Oh, well, let's just say that the ... um ... I think I ought to be careful about that one."

I don't think that Senator Clinton is a fool; I also don't think that Senator Obama is clueless. My decision included reading and observing who was lining up in their camps. Obama's team has attracted people I would like to rise to the top. As for the Clinton team, I would just as soon that people Michael O'Hanlon, Gen. Jack Keane, and Lee Feinstein be kept far far far away from power.
