Edited on Thu Feb-28-08 09:11 PM by ExtraGriz
Today, the Clinton campaign announced that El Paso County Commissioner and former Barack Obama supporter Veronica Escobar has switched her support to Clinton.

6. So do you keep your headline LIE or do you edit while there is time......
We've had more than enough lies in this campaign, if you ask me.
and so, your integrity or lack thereof becomes the question in this thread if you don't change it soon. :eyes:

which, as far as I know is a Super Power that no other Super Delegate has.

Christ, I'm getting punch-drunk from the idiocy in this forum. How the hell do YOU manage to hold it together? You've been doing that much better than I've been able to.

a place where "reporting" from other websites is simply regurgitated, with a complete lack of fact-checking on the part of the poster?

27. Politico is claiming this though..
"The Clinton camp released a statement Thursday touting the defection of Obama superdelegate Veronica Escobar after polls in Texas, Escobar’s home state, showed Clinton leading among registered Hispanic voters by 62 to 21 percent."

Can anyone confirm this?

31. There is nothing to indicate Ms. Escobar is a superdelegate.
Clinton aides also said that she picked up a key endorsement Thursday from a former Obama supporter, El Paso County Commissioner Veronica Escobar, and that she still has far more endorsements from Hispanic leaders than Obama does.

http://www.mcclatchydc.com/homepage/story/28992.html

She is identified as endorsing Clinton, but is not identified as a superdelegate.

Nor is she listed on the Dem. Convention Watch 2008 site:

http://demconwatch.blogspot.com/2008/01/superdelegate-list.html

This is a stretch and likely an attempt by the Clinton camp to highlight some good news in an otherwise Obama-trending Texas.
