Texas didn't cook this up to foil the Clinton campaign.

2. Only 36 years to prepare for this--they clearly sprang it on her. Time to sue!

4. good to see you wienerdoggie ...
In fairness, nobody, NOBODY, had anticipated this kind of voter turnout. This primary is definitely not going to kill our party. It was awesome in Nebraska this year, wasn't it?

8. Good to see you too, L/P--
I went to the caucus (for Obama), and it was an amazing experience, all of us looking at each other and thinking, "There's THIS many Democrats in Nebraska? Wow!" I think the turnout in this primary season, even in states like NE, means the pendulum is swinging the Dems' way in November, definitely.

Like I said, nobody predicted this.
Florida and Michigan not in play, Nebraska caucusing early, Obama showing up for something other than a $1000/plate fund-raiser and Bush fatigue worked in our favor this year. Wouldn't it be something if we had a real party after this?

5. Hillary Clinton: Unprepared from day one!
Quit yer whining, Hillary, and get real. You didn't bother with preparing your campaign in Texas because you thought you'd have the nomination sewn up by now. Another fine example of your poor judgment on display for all to see.

11. Of course. Usually we don't count for much during primary season.
In 1992, the system benefitted Bill Clinton. All this hollering has to do with Obama having a superior ground game to Clinton in Texas; he will be the one to benefit from it.

Hillary is acting like Bush and it stinks.

13. But... Hillary PLEDGED to Texas that they would pick the nominee !
Edited on Fri Feb-29-08 10:42 AM by K Gardner

An hour after the end of the CNN Democratic Presidential Debate in Austin, Hillary Clinton spoke briefly to Democrats at an after-party in a ballroom of the downtown Hyatt. "I'm going to pledge to you we are not only going to pick a nominee right here in Texas but we are going to lay the groundwork for a great campaign this fall where we will go from one end of this state to the other making the case that it is time for the Democrats once again to get back into office, and you heard me say it before, it took a Clinton to clean up after the first Bush and it will take another Clinton for this one."

15. Yes but Queen Hillary is behind
so she must sue her way to a win!

How can such a anti-democratic, fear-mongering, Rovian, Bush-lite tool like Hillary Clinton be a member of the DEMOCRATIC Party?????????

The Clinton's need their cancerous mass cut out of the Democratic party, lest it die!

16. I tell you what's going on here with all this,
we've had Bush for the last eight years and nobody from the Democratic party has been this fired up since Texas has not really been in play. I guess we just aren't that damn familiar with the rules sad to say.
