Obama, if you get the nomination I say be prepared for the
Dems to turn on you too......I reference this concerning how the dems defended McCain about the nywhoretimes article on McCain>
Bill Keller, whore editor of the NY Whore Times said, "Personally, I was surprised by the volume of the reaction. I was surprised by how lopsided the opinion was against our decision, with independents and Democrats joining Republicans in defending Mr. McCain from what they saw as a cheap shot."

I was not surprised.Democrats ALWAYS run to defend the Republicans because they're f-ing idiots. Did you watch the Sunday shows? Every Democrat agreed it wasn't fair how the Whore Times slimed McCain.

Does anyone remember them attacking the Whore Times over Whitewater?

Of course they didn't - they refused to stand up for their president even though Whitewater had already been investigated and no wrong-doing was found. But if they attack a Republican, our boneheaded wonders come to life.

How did I get in a party of cowardly losers who are sacless unless it's time to defend the enemy - THEN they mount up and ride off into battle.

Democrats aren't smart enough to realize that the GOP and their whore media make it a point to destroy our best and brightest so we'll never have a "Reagan." Democrats praise Reagan, they love Mccain but they shit on their heroes.

Barack - remember - they'll turn on you in a heartbeat!

2. Yep - I remember how most BIGNAME Dems sided with Bush on terrorism and Iraq war over Kerry
And were VERY public about their support and defense of Bush for his decisions in 2004.

I also remember Clinton loyalist Carville sabotaging Ohio Dem voters on election night. BEWARE Obama.

5. And what is your point. Many Conservatives did not like what that radio host said this week either.
Edited on Fri Feb-29-08 11:56 AM by TeamJordan23
Does that mean they are all going to abandon McCain.

I don't understand what your OP has to do with Obama. If you are going to vote for McCain, you might as well say that.

10. BenDavid, give it up.
You candidate lost. Stop being a bad Democrat and attacking another Democrat because he defeated your candidate.

Is it possible for Clinton supporters to be gracious about this?

What a bunch of whiney cry-babies they turned out to be.

15. Way to show the gracious!
Good God can you be anymore blind? Asking for grace in a sarcastic manner and then calling people names, one must assume, to give an example of the exact sort of graciousness you expect in return? Is calling people in your own Party cry-babies defined as 'gracious' by the Obama campaign, or is that just you?
You are the one attacking another Democrat with bully tactics and name calling. Just so you know. You are that.

Although whether you've ever turned or just been against him all the time is unclear. It doesn't really matter either way.

12. according to the Obama camp ...
he doesn't need the dem base ... the blacks, younger voters and cross-over republicans are plenty enough to carry him to victory in Nov.

18. It's not a question of being "sackless."
It comes down to money. The GOP are simply practiced whores who do a far better job of attracting, and pandering to, Big Money. I prefer to blame the money that has corrupted both sides of the aisle, but I'm saving a healthy slice of the blame for American apathy, without which the current pitiful state of representative democracy wouldn't stand.

20. You Have Mistaken Despair for Apathy
The people DO care. Most don't think they can do anything about it. It remains to be seen whether they are right.

One must also never underestimate the persuasive power of the media, especially when virtually all dissenting voices there have been silenced.

22. They are identical, in the current state of affairs.
The reason we aren't all in the streets right now is that we've been convinced that protests change nothing. Cut off from the fruits of the political process, we have persuaded ourselves that no political action can right the tremendous wrongs in America.

25. Which is a Very Different Thing From Apathy
People care, but none of the old ways of bringing about change seem to work anymore.

They may LOOK the same, but to treat them as if they were the same would be disastrous.

There is the often-stated belief that "if things get bad enough" that the people will do something about it.
That is based on the premise that the people don't care, but can be made to care if they are hurt enough.

If in fact what is manifest is not apathy but despair and a sense of powerlessness,
then the worse things get the deeper the despair and powerlessness become.

28. They act the same, in this climate.
Until America wakes up to the possibility of change, the change they could have simply by walking out into the street all together, it might as well be apathy.

will have their hands full from both the swift boat tactics of the repukes, and (sadly) attacks from their own base. If I understand your post correctly, are you saying that IF Obama is the nominee you would not turn on him?
