Not an Onion article: Kenyan tribal elders call for Hillary to "clear her name" and pay cattle fine
You would almost think this is from The Onion. But it's not. And it just shows how divisive Hillaryworld is and how we have to subject ourselves with their antics for at least a couple more days.

Angry tribal elders in Kenya are calling on Hillary Rodham Clinton to "clear her name" over any involvement in publication of photos of Barack Obama wearing a turban and African garb on a trip to his ancestral homeland.

The leaders are planning a protest in their community today, and are turning up the heat on the US government over the incident.

The photos appeared nationwide after they were published earlier this week on the Drudge Report Web site with a report that they had been circulated by Clinton staffers.

(snip)

The pictures show Obama wearing traditional Somalian garb on a 2006 visit to the Wajir region of Kenya, where his late father was born.

"The US government must apologize to us as a clan and the old man," Mohamed Ibrahim told Reuters, referring to a highly respected tribal elder who is also shown in the photos.

"We have been offended, and we cannot afford to just watch and stay silent."

He also said it was essential that Clinton "clear her name."

The Drudge Report said the photos had been forwarded by a Clinton staffer with an e-mail that said, "Wouldn't we be seeing this on the cover of every magazine if it were HRC ?"

(snip)

The elders said if they did not get an apology, they would demand the expulsion of US troops based near the town of Garissa in their region.

Hillary may also have to pay a cattle fine as well.

Kenyan elders may impose a fine on U.S. presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, payable in livestock, after a photo of her rival Barack Obama in robes dragged their people into the race for the White House.

31. Ok, if she wants to be the top diplomat of our country this demands
a better response than 'that's ridiculous'. These people are offended and she could do a lot of good defusing this and showing us her stuff. I don't think its ridiculous. I don't find them funny.

32. The Kenyans believe Drudge over Hillary. Apparently you do too.
Those photos were all over the place -- even in the National Enquirer -- before this story came out. It's just as likely that this whole story was a Rethug plant designed to hurt Obama AND make Hillary look bad.

3. If you think this is bad, wait until you see Clinton v. Dean
Hillary will sue Texas Democratic Party on their caucus rules, Howard Dean on his stripping of FL and MI delegates.

Hillary is the great polarizer!

33. No, there are plenty of more stupid things.
I don't blame the tribal elders for not accepting concepts of western law -- such as innocent until proven guilty -- but Duers should know better. This whole non-event is a classic Rove frame-up designed to hurt Obama and to make Hillary look bad.

34. This "shows how divisive Hillaryworld is"? No. It shows how gullible Duers can be.
Those pictures were out in National Enquirer weeks before this incident. This is a classic Rove frame-up, designed to strike two Dems with one Drudge report.
