37. Kidding * 1/2. The Clinton campaign is definitely preparing to spin the results however they can.
Any bets on whether Penn, et al use this gender gap to distract from Texas and Ohio?

32. How about the race gap
1) if you don't voe for Hillary, you're a sexist.

2) if you don't vote for Obama, then you're a racist.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

For the record, I have seen a lot of the first here going on at DU, but never the latter.
It seems Hillary and her supporters have nothing to run on, so they will pull out that sex card at every opportunity. Any criticism of Saint Hillary = Sexism.

6. Do you know if this was taken before or after his Providence appearance?
His numbers typically rise after he steps foot in a state, so if this was before it could get interesting.

11. I'm not sure what it came from.
But it certainly doesn't look like a straw poll and it is consistent with what you would expect from RI.

14. This will tighten considerably further before Tuesday.
The problem is that it's an older, establishment Dem state with a strong establishment Clinton machine. Obama will close even further with the work he is doing today and the hard efforts there, but Hillary will still win probably by 5 points or so. At least that's how it looks now.
Gotta give Obama credit for playing hard in RI against very tough Clinton machine odds. He has already closed the gap BIGTIME.

15. I'm in RI and maintain an independent affiliation so I can vote in any primary I wish.
My long term Repub mum wanted to vote for Obama and so I called the SOS's office.

They said Repubs had to change their affiliation in early December. We used to be able to change anytime.

Also due to low turnout the towering geniuses at the state decided to close many polling places.

Now finally. Our primary matters.

Could get crazy for sure.

46. hmmmmm
just somethin' I read in the local snooxe paper on Wednesday.

Time will tell.

Still this state is amongst the most blue and is totally DNC.

We've not got a whole slew of delegates anyway.

Should be interesting.

21. I hate to break it to you, but she CAN'T pull it out. She'd have to win by 15-20 points.
Moreover, 15-20 points in every remaining competitive state. And that's just to break even on delegates, not even to pull ahead or win.

Really, I'm sorry. But there is not nearly enough polling data to determine what will happen in Rhode Island. Obama could win the state. Hillary could win the state. Nobody really knows right now.

Once the Clinton camp wins Rhode Island and then successfully sues to seat the MI and FL delegates, handcuffs the superdelegates to their bedposts and convinces Texas and Wisconsin to secede, the nomination will be in the bag.

26. This seems odd to me, as every other prediction I've seen puts RI down for Obama.
It's been considered pretty much a given that he wins RI and VT for weeks, and it's not like anything's happened that would give Hillary a bump. Quite the opposite.

34. The RI predictions have been puzzling to me, as well, but we'll see. All
polls have Hillary carrying the state, but again, I'm not sure RI has been polled as extensively as some other states. The demographics would indicate an Obama win, however, they don't use Starbucks as much as Dunkin Donuts ! Time will tell and now that Obama has made an appearance, there should be the inevitable bump :-) Here's to Hope for RI !
