Guess Who's Performing On SNL Tonight...Wilco...Big Obama Backers
Jeff Tweedy has been a very vocal Obama supporter that has performed at multiple rallys and his band Wilco will be the featured musicians on tonight's SNL. I wouldn't be suprised if he makes his support known tonight, and I would expect to see Obama propaganda on stage while they're performing. They typically have atleast Obama stickers on some of their gear, but they might take it up a notch tonight with Hillary being there. Or they might not want to cause a scene of any sort. I guess we'll just have to tune in and find out.

1. Do you know how long it's been since I've actually watched SNL, let alone
the entire show? Now not only do I have the stupid thing Tivo'd, I'm going to be forced to watch the entire thing looking for any hint of political humor or support. *sigh*

Hillary Clinton expected to make surprise SNL appearance
Posted: 08:06 PM ET

(CNN) – Days before a crucial set of primaries, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is expected to make a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live tonight, an entertainment industry source tells CNN.

A spokesman for Saturday Night Live would not confirm the appearance, saying only, “It's a live show, anything can happen”

Clinton did not arrive for a campaign charter flight from Dallas to Columbus, Ohio Saturday evening. The campaign would not say where she was.

4. I sincerely doubt it
it would be pretty tasteless of them to do much. Heck, there was nothing in evidence when I saw them in DC on Wednesday.

6. Don't expect blood
Tweedy's a pretty straight-up guy.

Probably likes Hillary, too, though not as much as he likes Obama.

(How unlike about 90% of us DUers, eh?)

10. NYT blurb - -
In what is perhaps not the greatest bit of show business timing, Mrs. Clinton will be sharing the Saturday Night Live bill with Wilco, the popular alt-country Chicago band which has become one of the biggest boosters of – you guessed it, Mr. Obama. (The Obama stickers could be spotted on the band’s gear when it showed up for a two-night stand at 9:30, the Washington music club this week.)
