Carville: If Hil loses either TX or OH she should withdraw
This is what James Carville said to Tim Russert this morning on "Meet The Press". Mr. Carville went to say that Senator Clinton would do the right thing to preserve party unity and his advice to her is to withdraw from the race if she were to lose either Texas or Ohio. I hope that she is listening to him. I believe that it will be former President Clinton who would tell her on Tuesday to give up the race if she does not win both states.

5. I don't either
I truly detest Carville and I've never been a big fan of quoting people who say stuff I agree with under the "stopped clock" disclaimer.

3. I think Mark Penn will encourage her to do the Huckabee
He would be all to happy to hurt our chances in the general election out of spite. The question is, will Hillary be smart enough to ignore him?

She will not drop out until the math is conclusive.

10. Exactly, She won't drop out and neither will Huckabee.
Huckabee's odds are much more slim, but both of them will stick it out even if their odds are 1 in a billion. Hey, there is always a chance that Obama or McCain get hit by a asteriod between now and the convention!

11. I don't think she'll drop out immediatly because I think
she's waiting for the Rezko trial to begin hoping it brings some good fortune to her campaign. Listen, if she loses either TX or OH...it becomes damn near impossible for her to beat him amoung pledged delegates. She's allowed him to gain too much of a lead (150+) in that department. If she can't realistically beat him then there's no point in continuing to run. But Mike Huckabee has even less of a chance at winning and he's still running...so there's no gurantee that she'll drop out.

13. The difference is Hucky is running against an "over the hill"
Republican.

Hucky is way behind but he is trying to run a decent campaign and his staying in does not divide the party. In fact,he is a breath of fresh air so that we don't have to ;listen to "My Friends..."

Hillary is running against a new face and new voice that is inspiring millions of people all over America.

If the situation was reversed you can bet that Obama would not be allowed to even get a chance to come to Ohio and Texas. The delegates would have swift boated him out the door.

We shall see what America is made of on Tuesday.

20. Avoiding a Fight Isn't the Same Thing as Preserving Unity
I'm so tired of the 'sit down and shut up' mentality that so many Democratic party superstars are showing re: Hillary Clinton.

I hope she sticks it out.
