A little insight into the Obama "fainting" phenomenon...
I went to an Obama "town Hall Meeting" today in Westerville Ohio.

Doors opened at 12 noon, we got there at 10 am. We filed in past metal detectors, pretty slow going, but me and my 2 sons were in bleacher seats by 12:40. it was a sell out crowd...in a high school gymnasium, supposedly to keep it small. Reported that there were 1,700 people in the gymnasium, 750 people standing in the auditorium where they had speakers and 800 people were turned away. Obama was delayed and didn't speak until about 2:30. He was very interesting and engaging...and spoke for over an hour and a half. So near 4 o'clock both myself and my 2 sons were starving! sitting in bleacher seats, and the speech was so amazing we kept standing and clapping, sitting, then standing and clapping...and I thought to myself..."this is WHY people pass out at these things!"

Also to note, everyone got a booklet titled, "KEEPING AMERICA'S PROMISE, Strengthening the Middle Class". it very clearly and concisely lays out his economic plan in 46 pages. It mixes some of his speech rhetoric with facts and figures. Each section, ie-social security, jumpstart the economy, tax fairness, homeownership, workers rights, etc. has subsections, "at a glance", "the Problem, "Barack Obama's Plan", "Obama's Record". This is a great take home for all, and I'm hoping Tuesday has a happy outcome!!

Last thing! the "McCain Mobile" pulled in while we were waiting to go inside, if anyone wants to see it, check out notanotherwar.org. it's pretty funny! the photo on their website show's Bush's face, but they've replaced it with McCain--but kept the cowboy boots on!! what a hoot!

2. Thanks Zidzi!
It was a great experience! and while I won't be one of those Dems who say they aren't going to vote if their candidate doesn't get the nomination, I WILL support Hillary. But if Obama doesn't this chance I will cry for what could have been. (wow, heavy)...

3. Thanks for that.....
and knowing that hundreds of thousands have been to these rallies, 5 or 6 faints seem exceedingly low, imo.

4. I got light-headed at the rally I went to.
I got there at 1pm, doors opened at 6pm. The warm up speakers started about an hour before Obama spoke. I found that when I participated in the yells and chants, I got really light headed. I think it was the combination of being hungry and tired, and the way that yelling chants has an effect that can be similar to hyperventilating.
