Who thinks Obama is TOO CLOSE TO THE GOP in ideals, techniques and/or message??? |
|
Someone suggested this on another thread and it made me wonder how many people feel that way and, more importantly, WHY.
I've had bones to pick with Barack in the past (as I have with every other candidate at one time or another), but I can't say that I've ever thought he resembled the GOP in ideals, techniques and/or message. If you see him that way, please explain WHY. I really want to know.

I think Hillary is closer to the repubs than Obama is.

2. I think a lot of what you seeing would be classified as "histrionics" |

Just my observation.
Honestly, what shocked me the most was that someone said in so many words the reason they wanted HRC was because it would be revenge against the republicans.

7. Well good - I was hoping there weren't many who felt this way... |
|
...and even fewer who could say exactly why they did. YES WE CAN then!

Volcker: I Endorse Obama
Former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker is the latest big-name endorsement for Democratic Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois, lending his gravitas in the financial world to a presidential candidate whose biggest hurdle is to convince voters he is experienced enough to be president.
This has not been mentioned in this forum as of yet so far as I have seen.....But trust me...I am more than ready to come back here and support a democrat who will do what is right for this country. All it takes is NY,FLA Tx, and the southern states to fall inline with one mid-western biggie, the rest do not and never have mattered. Young people do not vote.....Ever...If Obama has the endorsement of this wiseness who is more seasoned than his successor "ALAN GREENSPAN"....The conservative Democrat here might have a voice again with his leadership at the helm. I am so sick of failed partisan politics for naught. The people need a leader that can relate to Wall street and Katrina tropocollagen episodes with equal enthusiasm. OBAMA is that man!!!!!
