VT,TX for Obama - OH, RI for Hillary = END GAME for Hillary. |
|
Edited on Mon Mar-03-08 12:41 AM by Thepricebreaker
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Hillary was supposed to (and has to) win OH and TX by wide margins. If Tuesday shapes up as my title suggests (and the polls), its a net loss for Hillary and she should get out of the race with a speech that night.
Let her win OH all day, who cares.. Texas is what matters...

2. Maybe it's just as well, if your style is an indication of your personality. |

Telling another poster to shut up is something I can live without so I'm not missing you any.

A good race can go on waaaaay too long and I think a lot of us feel we're at that point.
The sooner we have a clear winner, the sooner we can take a break from all the bickering, and regroup and reunite as Democrats to take on the reTHUGs.
I'll also be very happy to be able to clear my "ignore" list again! :)

7. CBS thinks Ohio will decide the primary |
|
There’s no better place to find out than Ohio: it’s the heartland of America, one of the big states in the middle of the country that has always grown the food and made the things that America needs - from auto parts to soap and shampoo to hamburgers. It stretches from the Great Lakes to the Ohio River, from Appalachia to the plains of the Middle West. If Ohio were a country it would have the 25th largest economy in the world, just behind the Netherlands. But today it reflects the problems and the challenges facing the United States and its middle class in a world that is rapidly changing. --- I don't think Hillary will quit if she wins Ohio.

16. She won't quit if she loses Ohio. Or barely eeks out a win. It won't matter though because |
|
the super delegates will move enmasse to Obama and put her and us out of her and our misery.

The Midwest doesn't like her and Obama is gaining. They just have to get to know him better.

11. I am still guessing he will win more delegates on the day than she will, again. |
|
This will just put her further behind. I just can't see how she can go on if that happens again. The "Big State" argument just isn't strong enough to hold up to all her losses.

19. She could win 3 or 4 tomorrow and still remain in the nomination |
|
race but in delegate counts, the current polling isn't favorable for her long-term chances.
If Obama wins either Texas or Ohio, or both, the pressure on Clinton to withdraw will be enormous.
