Now Hillary may get a crack at Florida again: Crist favors re-vote and will pay for it
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601070&sid=a_Z1B1gCt_nM&refer=home

Florida Governor Charlie Crist said he'd support a repeat of the Democratic presidential primary so the state's delegates can be counted at the party's national convention.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean said he's open to the possibility. Primary elections are paid for by a state's taxpayers, so the offer from Crist, a Republican, is ``very helpful'' because money is an issue, Dean said.

``We're very willing to listen to the people of Florida,'' Dean said on CNN's ``Late Edition'' program today.

primary going on indefinitely, so HRC and McCain can continue to double-team Obama.

That should work out nicely for the Republicans.

(Edit for typo.)

23. Yup. Republican callers on Washington Journal this morning
were admitting they would cross over and vote for Hillary in Texas so she wouldn't be forced to drop out early and to keep Democrats fighting over a nominee.

4. Fine. Another state for Obama to take away from her.
And if she DOES get it, she gets it fair and square, this time around.

5. Things may turn out a lot different should they decide to do it again.
Hillary may still win but it won't be a runaway.

7. If it's a closed primary, with no Repuke crossovers, she'll do well.

9. I agree.
I think she would do well, I just don't think she'd win by huge numbers like she did before we got to this point. You know how people are, they ride the bandwagon.

We always have closed primaries. We also have both parties voting on the same day. A revote would allow “Dem for a Day” party crossover votes. Hillary would win big with real democrats (probably more so being that Obama has constantly said our election should not count), but party switches could skew the results.

6. I wish Crist would stay out of this
He's the one who got us in the mess in the first place, along with the Florida legislature.

I don't trust the governor of the state that was used to steal the presidency for Baby Bush to run our primary.

Florida broke the rules. I'm all for seating them, IF this nomination is already a foregone conclusion by the time of the convention. If not they should be seated after the roll call vote.

24. I agree.
I think there needs to be a revote yet I smell the smell of an excuse for clinton to say in after Tuesday.

Frankly this all makes me sad. I had hoped for us to move on. While I support a revote I am angry that now the Clinton supporters have moved to swiftboat tactics and this race will get even worse.

The republican winning chances are getting better every day.

They can vote till they are blue in the face, the DNC will never change it's position on this. They had their chance, they chose to throw it away; end of subject.

14. I want to have the influence of New Hampshire Democrats.
Unless the original cast of candidates is on the ballot we won't bother to vote. This is not our chosen slate. We have major disagreements with both Obama's and Hillarys positions. So the choice has little meaning.

27. not that we won't be forced to come together
behind someone who we have major policy issues with. Liked what we heard today on South Park. About having to vote the lesser of two evils. The choice is between a douche and a turd. but, they are our turds. They come out for real solutions to Nafta and Single Payer, we will get more exicted about November. Meanwhile, We will try not to hear what progressive positions Ralph Nader suggests to be real solutions. For fear of comparing real solutions with lousy ones.

20. Which is why the election that already occurred should count...
a record number of Dem voters came out - more than twice as many as 2004. All the candidates were on the ballot, and nobody had an advantage over the others.

1.7 million votes were already cast - they should count.

18. Just talk. Crist isn't really for Florida taxpayers paying
for another vote. He's trying to create controversy with a different angle. If there is a revote, our party should pay for it.
