You also can't win an election being disliked by as many people as Hillary is.

4. Yes you can

Ohio was just the pivotal state in '04. I'm not saying it's not important in '08, it is, but you can win without it. There are a couple of "Red" Southern states that are going to flip soon. Virginia is at the top of the list. There are also states out west up for grabs or that are leaning more "Blue" than in '04 such as Colorado. Flip a couple of these and Ohio isn't the end all be all.

8. Has there ever been a win in any GE without winning in Ohio?
If you have an election where there was one could you supply a link?

10. Yes
Nixon won Ohio in 1960 but JFK won the election and Dewey won Ohio in 1944 but FDR won the election. I just looked at the 20th century. I'm sure there other examples.

Again, yes Ohio is important but that's been the Democrats' problem. Stop focusing solely on key states. Obviously Florida was key (understatement in 2000) but if Gore carries NH (he lost by a couple thousand votes), Florida doesn't matter.

6. Why is John Edwards getting 6% in that poll?
Something isn't right.

7. we will find out tomorrow.
I can see Hillary winning Ohio, but considering she was 21-points ahead three weeks ago, Obama has gained a lot of ground. He will also get a lot of delegates out of Ohio and still be ahead. But as Bil Clinton said she has to win both Texas and Ohio and we'll see if she can do that.
