Woke up this morning to find 20 Obama lawn signs, that I had placed in a row on the busy street
next to my house, missing. Every last one. Went to O headquarters to pick up more and they
reported that this was happening all over. Hillary signs still there!

Then I turn on Lynn Samuels on Sirius, who I used to love, and she is just having a coniption - Calling O - "Barack Fucking Obama" and saying that he "can say anything he wants and that he
is a big fucking liar."

Sign stealing is as old as the hills, and been done by the rightwingers/cons in the Texas party for at least the 40 years I've been watching them. They always do it in the primaries. Then when libs win the primaries, they vote Republican and do it again in the fall.

11. We had some show up at our street rally

they tried to say that they had planned it all along, etc etc & that WE (who had already been there over an hour) should leave. Yah, right. Call the cops, we don't care. We're on public property & not obstructing traffic so good luck with that.

They could only gather 3 together, so it was one per corner, while we had 12 (3 on each). They only had official campaign signs, so their "Honk for Hillary" yells didn't go over so well when we waved around our "Honk for Hope" ones. :evilgrin:

We ended our rally at 2 as planned. They cheered because they "made us" leave. Yah, whatever. They were gone 20 minutes later as I was heading back through that intersection on my way home.

20. I never really liked her but this election sent me over

the edge. Her voice has always driven me nuts and I only listened when nothing else was on talk radio on my way to Curves. But now I listen to music, she is so totally in Clintonville I can't listen to her at all.

I would actually rather listen to CNN than her...and that says alot.

You can tell Ed Shultz is for Obama but he never crosses the line of things to say about Clinton. He just says his opinion but doesn't call her names.

I will be so glad when primary time is over, it is splitting up the dems.

I had some Bushbots steal signs in 2004 and put a couple razor blades near the corners where they grabbed them (usually in the dark while drunk) and caught one sorry ass stealing and screaming to his buddy that he got cut by something. The signs stayed just fine after that.

Though in Jersey City, NJ we had the opposite happen. The mayor of that city was the only mayor in Hudson County who endorsed Obama. We don't know who ordered it, but every Hillary sign that we would place would be removed hours later by "elves".

Either way, it's not nice and it shouldn't happen. There should be respect for each other's signs, particularly when the candidates are in the same party.
