Are we going to be called racists when we question Obama's policies...
...if he does become the Nominee? Is his word golden? Are his policies unflawed? Will we be allowed to question (in a respectful manner, of course) his decisions? Questioning someone, afterall, isn't just good for the country, but also good for the party...to get the best possible platform "we" (mouse in my pocket) can. I'm not talking about just here either, but the Democratic Party and nation as a whole. With the recent issues of racism and feminism being thrown back and forth in this forum, I wonder.

The same question applies if HRC is the Nominee, but as to feminism and misogyny.

Thoughts?

1. Do you have any idea of how vapid this post is?
Evidently not. Just incredibly so.

10. The only foolish thing here are those that won't think about it.
Those that don't think race or gender will be an issue in the GE are naive.

4. If you show yourself to be a racist
you'll get the label or are you looking for a pass?

5. Well, the African-Americans among us will be called "Uncle Toms"
if they disagree with Obama, as we have already seen this week.

6. No.
Although if you simply criticize him for no reason what so ever, or for patently false reasons, then we're going to have to draw our own conclusions.

Anything other than fawning adoration is unacceptable.
The REAL Obama supporters are nice folks. The trolls and HillaryHaters will all get kicked off or return to Freepertown if Obama gets the nom. They'll have nothing left to say since their logos and occasional cover posts are all lies, and they never supported Obama at all. They were here to hate Hillary, and if/when she's defeated, they'll go support McCain.

9. Shit no. He's the best candidate in the race, but he's no Kucinich or Edwards.

And they wouldn't be above criticism either, if they were in the Oval Office.

11. Everyone who questionms Hillary's tactics is accused of misogyny, so I expect what's good
for the goose is good for the gander.

Damn. Sexist language.

12. Yeah, no kidding.
I know you were being sarcastic, but I hope you are wrong...on both the racism and misogyny accouts. Peace. :toast:
