Just heard Hillary say she and MCCAIN have experience
while Obama does not, on CNN. What the heck is she thinking? She is implying McCain would be a better president than Obama. Did anyone else hear that? And did anyone else get the feeling that she might not endorse Obama, but endorse McCain? What would that do to the Democratic party if she kept talking like that. (And how far will she go?)

12. He did not praise Reagan
He stated a fact - Reagan led a period of fundental change - change we don't like. Bill did not lead a pendulum swing back to the center, much less to the left. Like Nixon - who continued a swing to the left, Bill continued a swing to the right. Look at what happened in the time frames. The disparity of the top to the bottom in income peaked in 2000.

8. Is there anyone who doesn't think she's trying to throw it to McCain in November?
Her last shot at the presidency will be 2012 if Obama loses in November. She's going to do everything she can to make that happen.

18. This is true - if Obama loses, she gets to try again
but if she doesn't endorse Obama and McCain wins, she will be persona non grata in the Democratic party.

9. She's been cozying up to McCain for a couple of weeks now.
Her rhetoric's the same.

She even seconded McCain's challenge on public financing in the general election, even though it's a irrelevant to the Clinton campaign since it would mean she'd be out.

15. They are double teaming Obama
It's hard to tell which campaign releases the talking points. For now it's a win-win, McCain supports the weaker Democrat, Hillary benefits from having only one opponent.

21. I didn't hear where she implied that, but that makes sense
I hope that this is what she meant, because if it meant that McCain is more quaified, she will cause huge problems in the Democratic party.

22. If she's the nom. the experience question will come back to bite her in the ass.
After she's indoctrinated the electorate into voting for the "most experienced" all McCain has to say is "I'm the most experienced" and he'll win.

30. POTUS mCcain receiving THAT 3:AM call would reach for his signed copy of...
Edited on Mon Mar-03-08 05:00 PM by chknltl
"My Pet Goat". The fact that Senator Obama does not have a copy does not reflect his lack of experience.

Regardless of WHO made the comparison, Senator Clinton's experience is far and away better for America than Senator mCcain...it is hard to believe that she would deliberately compare herself to him in ANY fashion. If she did, that is indeed sad. Earlier on the radio I heard the same caller, (an obvious plant), call in with an exact same message on two differing progressive shows. The message in both? 'That the polls are in error because she is seeing a wide margin of unreported Senator Clinton voters about to turn out in BOTH Texas and Ohio, that the polls must be in error and who would be doing that???!' (Not exact words but you get the idea.) This too is sad.

These kind of tactics will make it all the harder for me to support Senator Clinton should she still get the nomination. (I will support her of course, not to worry!) I am sooooo damned done with politics as usual. That is what leads me to join in with the Obamamania. It appears to me that America at this point feels the same way.

Senator Obama will wipe the floor with Senator 'one issue' mCcain. That photo of him hugging bush sums up his single quite rotten plank. Senator Obama won't let him off of it while ripping him up on every single issue.... make no mistake here: LANDSLIDE.

(btw: I think it would be funnier then hell if someone posted a you-tube video of Senator mCcain getting that 3:AM call and responding to it by reaching for "My Pet Goat"!)

way they are going to allow her to beat Obama to a pulp. Especially when he is the likely nominee. I predict many will switch to Obama on Wed.
